Australia animal husbandry company aims for China market

Australian animal husbandry company AACo has seen the continuous development of the Chinese meat product market and aims to make China its new top export destination, reducing the dependence of the Indonesian market, according to reports. Company executive David Farley said plans are already in the experimental stages, which involve exporting refrigerated cut livestock to China.

Australian animal husbandry company AACo has seen the continuous development of the Chinese meat product market and aims to make China its new top export destination, reducing the dependence of the Indonesian market, according to reports.

Company executive David Farley said plans are already in the experimental stages, which involve exporting refrigerated cut livestock to China. He also said the company wishes to one day export fresh livestock to Southeast China. “Even though the current amount of exports is small, we are improving the trend to become very attractive," said Farley. "I think that China will become Australia’s top fresh livestock export destination before 2013.”
