Kongskilde Industries has completed the modernization of its plant in Kutno, Poland, where the company has invested €12.2 million since the beginning of 2009.
The new facilities include new production equipment, including three welding robots, several CNC-machines and a top-of-the-line system for surface treatment. The expansion also included a new warehouse for spare parts, a covered storage area for raw materials and an overall improved infra-structure. Development included new initiatives allowing shorter production runs to increase the production flexibility to the customer's benefit, said Kongskilde.
