Young poultry vet of the year 2012 announced

The inaugural Young Poultry Veterinarian of the Year Award was presented to Dr. Kelli Holloway Jones at a recent meeting of the American Association of Avian Pathologists. The new award, supported by the World Veterinary Poultry Association and Pfizer Animal Health Global Poultry, was created to recognize and reward the best young talent in the poultry industry.

The inaugural Young Poultry Veterinarian of the Year Award was presented to Dr. Kelli Holloway Jones at a recent meeting of the American Association of Avian Pathologists.

The new award, supported by the World Veterinary Poultry Association and Pfizer Animal Health Global Poultry, was created to recognize and reward the best young talent in the poultry industry. Jones currently works at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Mississippi State University. She also acts as a consultant to the U.S. and international poultry industries through a global poultry biological supplier, and serves on professional committees for both the American College of Poultry Veterinarians and the American Association of Avian Pathologists.
