Nuscience Group will invest in the coming three years in Drongen (Belgium) and Utrecht (the Netherlands) to build new state-of-the-art production facilities. These investments are part of a re-organization of the production set-up in the Benelux to increase cost efficiency and to specialize the factories at the same time, according to the company.

The new facility in Drongen will be built on the same location, next to the existing plant and offices. This new facility will become the only production site in Belgium and will focus on the flexible production of premixes, piglet nutrition and specialty ingredients. In Utrecht, Nuscience has acquired the Agrifirm feed plant next to the current premix production factory. The company plans to construct a new premix and protein concentrates factory focusing on maximum cost-efficiency.
