Aviagen approached the school as a registered training organization to partner and develop an in-house workplace training program to address skill shortages they had identified within their production team. Training modules were set up to allow hands-on instruction in the various phases of production, and Aviagen technical specialists in male management, hatchery, ventilation, technical service, veterinary, export and some outside suppliers like Pfizer Poultry Division assisted in providing expertise for the trainees.
