Aviagen vice president elected to serve on USDA advisory committee

Aviagen Inc. has announced that Dr. Greg Rosales, vice president of Veterinary Services at Aviagen, has been elected to serve as the representative for the South Central Region on the General Conference Committee of the National Poultry Improvement Plan, an Official U.S. Department of Agriculture advisory committee, for 2012–2016. As a member of the committee, Rosales will help maintain and ensure industry involvement in federal administration of matters pertaining to poultry health.

Aviagen Inc. has announced that Dr. Greg Rosales, vice president of Veterinary Services at Aviagen, has been elected to serve as the representative for the South Central Region on the General Conference Committee of the National Poultry Improvement Plan, an Official U.S. Department of Agriculture advisory committee, for 2012–2016. 

As a member of the committee, Rosales will help maintain and ensure industry involvement in federal administration of matters pertaining to poultry health. He is one of seven committee members, with each member representing one of six geographic areas and another serving as a member-at-large. Rosales was previously elected and served on the committee in 2000–2004.
