Alan Goodwin, one of the poultry industry’s well-known contributors, is retiring after almost five decades of service to the industry, 30 of which were with Aviagen products.
Goodwin worked with Ross Breeders in 1975 as sales manager for the African continent. At that time, he was on contract with the United Nations to develop a plan for Lesotho to become self-reliant for poultry breeding.
At Aviagen, Goodwin was working as regional sales manager for Western Europe.
