Federal agents are conducting a criminal investigation at the Sparboe Farms facility in Litchfield, Minn.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman Shawn Neudauer told the Associated Press details about the investigation aren't available because it is ongoing, but he did say 10 people face administrative charges, which are a tool ICE uses to apprehend possible illegal immigrants.

Sparboe is a shell egg producer and marketer, based out of Litchfield. The company, which started in 1954, serves retail, wholesale and foodservice customers in 26 states.
