The Responsible Use of Medicines in Agriculture Alliance  has announced that NFU Scotland and the Game Farmers’ Association have joined the Alliance.    

In welcoming the new members, the Alliance's secretary general, John FitzGerald, said the addition of Scottish farmers and game farmers increases the strength of the Responsible Use of Medicines in Agriculture Alliance. Penny Johnston of NFU Scotland says the group will encourage members to use the Alliance's guidelines and will work with farmers and veterinarians to ensure responsible use of antimicrobials on livestock farms.
