Peco Foods announced a restructuring of its marketing program into commodity sales and prepared food sales, which took effect in February, and named directors of the new divisions.

Bobby Wilburn is the director of commodity sales and marketing and Gary Brown is the director of prepared food sales and marketing.

Brown comes to Peco Foods from O.K. Foods Inc., where he spent 20 years and was most recently vice president of sales and marketing.

“Gary Brown brings tremendous experience, vision and energy to his new position with Peco,” said Mark Hickman, chief executive officer of the Tuscaloosa-based poultry company.

“He knows precisely how to balance product mix with sales strategies, and he has earned an excellent reputation as one of the best poultry marketing specialists in the country.”

Wilburn has been with Peco 25 years and has been an integral part of the marketing team according to Hickman.

“In his new position, he will be responsible for all domestic and international commodity sales,” said Hickman.

“We’re fortunate to have someone of Bobby’s caliber in this key position.”
