Over 200 people registered themselves for the conference "Key to successful broiler production," organized by VIV and Jansen Poultry Equipment during VIV Asia. During the conference, factors for successful broiler production were discussed, such as:

  • Improving meat quality, and how to avoid problems such as breast blisters and feet pad problems.
  • Uniform growth by keen distribution of food, water and air.
  • Harvesting of broilers without damages.
  • Do's and Do-not's in modern broiler housing.

"I am glad that I visited this conference," said one of the attendees. "I learned how to improve my broiler production just by changing a few management tools."

Management of nutrition schemes, light, vaccination programs, ventilation and temperature were also discussed during the conference, and other important factors that influence the results of broiler production were shared.
