Roxell strengthened its global footprint with the integration of Agile Mfg., located in Anderson, Mo. The integration was effective in January.

Since 2001 Agile has marketed Roxell feeding systems, Shenandoah heating, nesting, and incinerator products, and ProTerra ventilation systems in North and Central America.

"With this latest step, Roxell will generate over 100 Million Euros of sales, employ over 300 people in four locations, and have manufacturing capabilities in three continents: Europe, America, and Asia," said Gino Van Landuyt, managing director of Roxell. "This offers further benefits to our customers and distributors both by expanding the product range and the flexibility of production close to the end customer."

Roxell remains a business unit of CTB, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company.

Agile will from now on operate as Roxell USA. There will be no changes to its manufacturing activities.

The sales and service organization will be regionally structured.

"This new organization will allow us to offer a complete package of premium products to all of the Americas.  It will also enable us to further strengthen the Roxell brand and regionally expand the Shenandoah and ProTerra brands throughout the Americas," said Mick Whelan, international sales manager for the Americas.

Both Roxell and Roxell USA have enjoyed strong growth in the past.

"This consolidation offers opportunities to continue along that path", concludes Bart Roels, international sales manager responsible for the other regions.

The management team of the company met February 18-20 at the Roxell headquarters in Maldegem, Belgium to discuss and formulate global strategy.
