Company began processing poultry last week at the company's Plainville, N.Y. facility

Kosher Valley began processing poultry last week at the company's Plainville, N.Y. facility, formerly the home of Plainville Farms turkey operation. Kosher Valley is owned by Hain Pure Protein Corp (HPPC), which also owns Plainville Farms. New Oxford Foods, formerly a Pilgrim's Pride turkey operation, is now home to Plainville Farms' turkeys.

Kosher Valley produces vegetarian-fed, antibiotic-free kosher chicken and turkey products. Plainville Farms' turkeys are vegetarian-fed and antibiotic-free. HPPC is a joint venture between The Hain Celestial Group Inc. and Pegasus Capital Advisors L.P. HPPC was formed in 2005, and the company specializes in organic and antibiotic-free chicken and turkey production.
