Risk, crisis management to feature at 2nd China Poultry Forum Beijing

Successfully managing risk and crises and the environmental impact of the poultry industry will be key topics at the 2nd Annual China Poultry Forum, to be held in Beijing, China, on September 6-7. Leaders from China principal poultry companies, academics, government officials and poultry professionals from around the world will come together to look at prevention and response strategies to food safety crises or disease outbreaks, particularly topical given the recent impact of avian influenza on the Chinese industry.

Successfully managing risk and crises and the environmental impact of the poultry industry will be key topics at the 2nd Annual China Poultry Forum, to be held in Beijing, China, on September 6-7.

Leaders from China principal poultry companies, academics, government officials and poultry professionals from around the world will come together to look at prevention and response strategies to food safety crises or disease outbreaks, particularly topical given the recent impact of avian influenza on the Chinese industry.

Disease and food safety are closely tied to operating environment, and how to control the growing environmental impact of the poultry industry and the creation of a green/circular model of production will also be examined. A who's who of the global poultry industry will contribute to the event and examine how best practice and latest technologies can be applied to the local market to move the Chinese industry forward. The 2nd China Poultry Forum is organized by Poultry International China Edition, WATT and Shanghai Lyja Cultural Media Co LTD, with support from the China Animal Agricultural Association.
