Ceva's sales force has been recognized as the top sales team in the poultry vaccine industry by C.F. Grass Consulting, marketing research consultant.

The group called Ceva "the most dominant vaccine sales force in the industry, (making) the most vaccine-related sales calls and provided the highest value during its calls."

"Adding value while building mutually beneficial relationships with veterinarians and agribusiness clients is a focus that leads to strong financial results for both Ceva and the customers we serve," said Gary Baxter, director of poultry sales for Ceva.

Baxter credits the quality of sales calls and the strength of its vaccine portfolio as the reason Ceva climbed to the number two position in the avian vaccine market last year.

"I'm proud of our sales team. They have demonstrated a commitment to our key partners and show we're here to help them solve problems and meet their goals. This team has helped Ceva establish its position as a leader versus a challenger brand," Baxter said.

During 2012, Ceva expanded its poultry vaccine range by integrating products from Vetech Laboratories, a Canadian poultry vaccine manufacturer the company acquired in late 2011. This allowed Ceva to add Vetech's live coccidiosis vaccine, Immucox, to the portfolio.
