European feed association welcomes new members

At the 26th Congress in Cracow, Poland, the European Compound Feed Manufacturers' Federation General Assembly welcomed the Croatian Feed Industry Association and the Bulgarian Feed Manufacturers Association as members.The active membership was made official by an agreement between the European Federation and its two new active members signed by Stjepan Sabljak, president for the Croatian Association and Hristineta Stancheva president the Bulgarian Association. It will enter into force on July 1 2013.

The Croatian Feed Industry Association has been an observer member of the European Compound Feed Manufacturers' Federation since 2008. The official integration of Croatia in the European Union paved the way to full membership. In 2012, the Croatian Association had 124 members.

The Bulgarian Feed Manufacturers Association became a member after also joining the EU. The Bulgarian Association has 66 members.
