A new Aitas-MP poultry meat processing plant has opened in the city of Ust-Kamengorsk, Kazahkstan, the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry reported. Agriculture Minister Asylzhan Mamytbekov attended the plant opening ceremony.
The plant has been designed to process 12,000 tons of poultry per year. The plant will produce more than 150 kinds of meat products, including red meat and poultry meat products, sausages, deli and convenience food.
More than $1 million was invested for the poultry plant project.
