Centre for Feed Technology in Norway appoints manager

The Centre for Feed Technology, at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, appointed Olav Fjeld Kraugerud in a permanent position as manager of the Feed Technology Centre (FôrTek) on August 1. Kraugerud has a thorough academic background, holding an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from NTNU, Norway, and a Ph.D. from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.

The Centre for Feed Technology, at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, appointed Olav Fjeld Kraugerud in a permanent position as manager of the Feed Technology Centre (FôrTek) on August 1.

Kraugerud has a thorough academic background, holding an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from NTNU, Norway, and a Ph.D. from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. The doctorate, which he performed in the research group Aquaculture Protein Centre, focused on nutritional and physical qualities of extruded feed.

FôrTek serves both scientists and the international feed industry by carrying out research in all areas of fish feed, pet food and animal feed, as well as educating students in the M.Sc. Feed Manufacturing Technology.
