Kemin hires new marketer, announces promotions

Kemin has hired Rebecca Casey as an addition to the company's marketing team for the animal nutrition and health division in North America. The company has also instituted several promotions. Dr. Ken Griswold was promoted to senior technical services manager of the ruminant team; Marc Hoopingarner and Dr. Brian Kremer were promoted to regional sales managers for the monogastric team and Dr. April Levy will coordinate technical services and trials for the monogastric team.

Kemin has hired Rebecca Casey as an addition to the company's marketing team for the animal nutrition and health division in North America. 

The company has also instituted several promotions. Dr. Ken Griswold was promoted to senior technical services manager of the ruminant team; Marc Hoopingarner and Dr. Brian Kremer were promoted to regional sales managers for the monogastric team and Dr. April Levy will coordinate technical services and trials for the monogastric team.

Casey will serve as a product manager for LYSOFORTE and other products in the monogastric platform. Prior to joining Kemin, Casey was a marketing manager at Animal Health International, Inc. and responsible for strategic planning, product life cycle, training, pricing and building relationships with customers and sales forces. She has also held marketing roles with Tru-Test Group and Alpharma Animal Health. Casey has a Bachelor of Science in animal science from Iowa State University.

Griswold will manage ruminant technical services and serve as a member of the ruminant leadership team. He joined Kemin in 2010 and was most recently a dairy technical services manager. Griswold holds a Bachelor of Science in animal science from Cornell University, a Master of Science in dairy nutrition from West Virginia University and a Ph.D. in rumen microbiology from the University of Illinois. 

Hoopingarner has been named regional sales manager for poultry. He joined Kemin in 2008 and previously served as the Southeast monogastric team leader. In addition to a successful career in sales, Hoopingarner served five years in the U.S. Air Force as an aircrew life support journeyman/survival instructor.

Kremer has been named regional sales manager for swine. He joined Kemin in 2009 and previously served as the technical services manager of swine. Kremer holds a Bachelor of Science in animal science from Iowa State University, Master of Science in poultry science from Ohio State University and received his Ph.D. in animal nutrition from Iowa State University. 

Levy will coordinate technical services and animal trials for the monogastric team. She joined Kemin in 2012 after completing her Ph.D. and Master of Science from Louisiana State University in animal science with an emphasis in monogastric nutrition. Levy has authored an extensive list of publications, including journal articles, abstracts and technical manuscripts, in swine and poultry subjects.
