Food Safety and Quality Systems was awarded with the Training Center of the Year award, presented by the Safe Quality Food Institute (SQFI). SQFI recognized six recipients for its 2013 Quality Achievement Awards, which are presented to companies and individuals demonstrating an ongoing commitment to improving food safety within the global community.

"We are truly honored to receive such a prestigious recognition. As a small business, we are proud to be representing and supporting the SQF Institute, the SQF Code and its principals," Food Safety and Quality Systems said in a statement. "Our team is passionate and dedicated to providing world-class training. We strive to provide a unique training experience to all by focusing on providing a curriculum that includes realistic solutions to challenges food companies face when implementing food safety and quality programs."

Robert Garfield, senior vice president of SQF Institute, said the Outstanding Achievement Award recipients contribute to achieving the SQF mission of delivering consistent, globally recognized food safety and certification programs.

"Producing safe food must remain a top priority for all food retailers and manufacturers, and we are pleased to recognize those who uphold the highest standards of food safety," said Garfield.
