Harbro Group appoints export manager

The Harbro Group and its subsidiary Strathclyde Nutrition has appointed Russell Jones as Harbro Group export manager. Jones’ main role is to develop and support the growing export business which has been established by Strathclyde Nutrition, the group’s custom manufacturing and supply division.

Jones' main role is to develop and support the growing export business which has been established by Strathclyde Nutrition, the group's custom manufacturing and supply division. He brings over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, ruminant and intensive livestock sectors. Since gaining a BA Hons in Business Management from the University of Plymouth, he has held significant positions for global pharmaceutical companies and has successfully introduced new business solutions into developed sectors.

"Harbro and Strathclyde already have a strong reputation in the UK and I am looking forward to building on this, bringing their innovative products and services to markets around the world, with the ultimate result of improving profitability for producers," said Jones.

Commenting on the appointment, Strathclyde Nutrition Sales and Marketing Director Neil Kidd says, "We have been tremendously successful at formulating and bringing new products and concepts to the UK and Ireland market. The next step of the Harbro Group expansion is to introduce our offering to new markets throughout the world and Russells' knowledge and experience will help achieve this."
