Theo Hoen has been appointed the new CEO of the Vencomatic Group. Hoen will join the Vencomatic Group on April 1.

Vencomatic, founded in 1983 by Cor van de Ven, has grown significantly over this period, and diversified with new brands such as Agro Supply, Prinzen and Vencosteel. The Vencomatic Group has established a substantial global market position providing quality poultry products. Continued research and innovation has been the ethos behind this successful expansion. Now with a pipeline of new products being developed, Hoen's appointment is made with the aim of organizing and guiding the Vencomatic Group through this new phase of future growth.

With more than 25 years of experience in the poultry industry, Hoen was until recently the CEO of Marel and Stork Poultry Processing.

"I am very happy to join the Vencomatic Group, as I love to work in the poultry market for an innovative company with a strong customer focus," Hoen said of his appointment. "Moreover I like working for a company, which recognizes its employees as its most important resources".

Cor van de Ven will continue to have a significant contribution to the Vencomatic Group by being involved in product innovation. Commenting on Hoen's appointment, van de Ven said "I am convinced that with the appointment of Theo we can bring our company in the next growth phase. With this step I feel confident that our company can fulfill the growing demand for sustainable systems for poultry and egg handling and thereby serving our customers with innovative solutions."
