Unicorn Grain Specialties, an international producer of functional and specialty ingredients for feed, food and industry, has invested in expansion and modernization of its production facility in Weert, the Netherlands.
Unicorn wants to invest more than €2 million (US$2.7 million) in its processes to increase the capacity of the company. Due to the continued growth and customer demands, Unicorn is investing in several major projects. In addition to the continuing demand for specific natural functional ingredients, the demands of the customer are also increasing. To meet the highest quality standards and increasing demand, Unicorn will expand the silo capacity and will install additional process technologies within the company. The process automation will also be provided with the most recent hardware and software.
