Cantrell has named Ray Tatum as Pilgrim’s national accounts manager. Tatum, who joined Cantrell in 2008, will serve as Cantrell’s main contact with Pilgrim’s.
He will continue his duties as Cantrell accounts manager for the Western Region, serving clients in Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Western Alabama and the West Coast. Tatum is also national accounts manager for Sanderson Farms, Peco Foods and Foster Farms.
“Over the years, Ray has built strong relationships within the Pilgrim’s organization making this move a great fit for Cantrell, Ray and Pilgrim’s,” Cantrell General Manager Dane Woods said. “We’ve found that having an account manager assigned as the main contact for a company is beneficial to both Cantrell and our customer.”
Tatum is a poultry industry veteran, having worked as a complex safety manager, a plant manager and a regional sales executive. A Louisiana Tech University graduate, he serves as vice chairman for the Louisiana Poultry Federation.
