Diamond V has promoted two employees and hired a new member of the company’s North America poultry team to support enhanced customer service and further business growth.
Mike Mitchell, North American poultry director, announced that Don McIntyre will expand his leadership role as director, North America Poultry Research, leading the Diamond V research program in North America.
Mitchell also announced that David Kenyon is now business manager, Layers & Turkeys. Kenyon joined Diamond V in April 2013. “David has been instrumental in our growth,” Mitchell said, “and his leadership experience will be a tremendous asset.”
Kenyon will be working directly with Eric Gingerich, DVM, Weldon Michael, and Diamond V’s newest poultry team member, Paul Price.
As a Diamond V poultry specialist, Price will concentrate on serving the layer and turkey industries. Price has come to Diamond V with extensive experience in layers, turkeys, and broilers, including previous employment with Enzyvia LLC, Novus International, Inc., and Agile Mfg. (poultry production equipment). He has been active in the Texas Allied Poultry Association, including a term as first vice-president, and has received certification by the Professional Animal Auditor Certification Organization.
Price has a bachelor’s degree in poultry science from Texas A&M University, where he is working on his master’s degree, also in Poultry Science. Price and his family reside in Fort Worth, Texas.
