BRF joins International Poultry Council

BRF, the world’s biggest exporter of poultry and the largest food company in Brazil, has become an associated member of the International Poultry Council (IPC).“We are delighted to welcome BRF into the IPC fold,” said IPC president Jim Sumner, who noted that the IPC has 31 associated members from around the world.

“We are delighted to welcome BRF into the IPC fold,” said IPC president Jim Sumner, who noted that the IPC has 31 associated members from around the world. “It sends a strong signal that the IPC is strengthening its membership base as a growing global industry organization.”

The IPC currently represents about 85 percent of the world’s poultry production, and nearly 96 percent of global trade in poultry meat.
