Becky McConnell has been appointed by Kelly Turkeys to manage its participation in shows and events. McConnell brings to Kelly Turkeys experience as an events manager for firms in London and has previously worked in the catering and restaurant trade.
UK-based Kelly Turkeys exhibits at a number of top food, consumer and trade shows through the year, and is this year is organizing special activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the launch of the KellyBronze, the company’s premium traditional Christmas turkey.
McConnell will also take over the administration of the KellyBronze Farmers franchise scheme while its coordinator, Nicola Tremain, is on maternity leave. The scheme involves farmers in most areas of the country, providing a local supply of the award-winning turkeys.
McConnell, who lives at Bicknacre, near Danbury, Essex, has a teenage daughter and enjoys cooking and walking.
