Birko,
a leader in providing
food safety solutions to the meat, produce and brewery
industries, has hired Cory Parr as East Region director of sales. Parr
will be based in Alabama.
“We’re pleased to welcome Cory to the Birko team,” said Philip Snellen, Birko’s vice president of sales. “Cory has extensive experience in food processing food safety and sanitation, particularly in the meat and poultry markets.”
Parr’s expertise includes ready-to-eat processed foods, poultry kill facility cleaning and rail care programs. In addition, he has chemical safety training and micro audit training.
Before joining Birko, Parr spent 15 years in multiple roles with Ecolab, capping his career there as national corporate account manager. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College.
