Michael Chau has accepted a position as a Ross technical service manager on the Asian technical team. Chau’s appointment was made effective June 1.
Chau has been with Aviagen since joining the company in January 2007 in the export group. He was an export coordinator for more than three years before he moved to great grandparent and grandparent production as part of his training program.
A year later, Chau accepted an assignment as a farm manager for Aviagen India, where he spent the next year managing the broiler trial farm facility. He then joined Aviagen Australia and worked in the hatchery before assuming the role of quality control manager focused on day old chick quality, day of age vaccination procedures, line security, grading and hatchery environmental control.
In January 2014, Chau transferred to the grandparent production facility in Griffith, New South Wales, Australia, and then into parent stock production auditing internal production facilities for egg quality before he joined the local technical service team and visited customers in the domestic market.
