Cloverleaf Cold Storage completes North Carolina upgrades

Cloverleaf Cold Storage has recently completed upgradesto the rail siding servicing at its Benson, North Carolina warehouse. Thisinvestment came just in time for the increased interest throughout the industryfor additional capacity to handle diverted export traffic due to west coastport slowdowns.

Cloverleaf Cold Storage has recently completed upgrades to the rail siding servicing at its Benson, North Carolina warehouse. This investment came just in time for the increased interest throughout the industry for additional capacity to handle diverted export traffic due to West Coast port slowdowns. 

Cloverleaf regularly handles over a quarter of a billion pounds per year of refrigerated rail freight at 15 facilities throughout the central and eastern U.S. Cloverleaf’s four southeastern warehouses are all rail served and are strategically located to provide access to all of the regions deepwater ports, including Norfolk, Charleston, Wilmington, and Savannah.
