Bird-flu claimed yet another victim, a five-year-old boy, in South Jakarta, taking the toll there to 11 since 2005.
Chaidir Taufik, the head of livestock and marine subservice of South Jakarta, said the child, who had just returned from Sukabumi, where chickens were reported to have suddenly died, may have come in contact with diseased birds.
