The International Society for Mycotoxicology will host its first conference from September 9-11, 2009, in Tulln/Vienna, Austria.
The aim of the conference is to facilitate discussion and collaboration among scientists, opinion leaders, decision-makers and industry experts in the specific research area of mycotoxins reduction in the food and feed chains.
Technological solutions for the reduction of the most relevant mycotoxins that concern agrifood producers and consumers will be discussed in four scientific sessions:
1. Pre-harvest mycotoxins reduction
2. Post-harvest mycotoxins reduction
3. Bioavailability and detoxification of mycotoxins
4. Advanced technologies to reduce and detect toxigenic fungi and mycotoxins
