Saudi Arabia has lifted the ban on poultry products imported from Pakistan, according to the Khaleej Times.
The country initially banned chicken meat and eggs from Pakistan due to growing concerns of avian influenza spreading, but resumed trade after the WHO declared Pakistan free from AI.
Pakistani poultry farmers welcomed the news along with projections that the country's poultry industry should grow considerably in the future.
