Highest ever chicken meat consumption in Brazil

According to Brazilian Association of Poultry Producers and Exporters, UBABEF, the Brazilian chicken meat consumption per capita reached 47.4 kg (104.9 lbs) in 2011, against 44 kg (97.3 lbs) in 2010, a 7.5% rise and the highest ever.

It is worth mentioning that in 2011 the U.S. consumption per capita reached 44.4 kg (98.2 lbs), according to USDA.
