According to Ministry of Agriculture, the Brazilian meats exports generated US$15.6 billion in sales revenue, a 15% rise compared to 2010, in spite of a 1.6% shrink in the global exported volume.
The excellent result was reached thanks to a substantial increment in the average price per ton, whose growth varied from 11.5% for pork through 50% for processed beef. The average increment in the price per ton was of 16.6%.
