Pas Reform adopts single-stage incubation in Brazil

The company has also designed and installed a GPS hatchery for Russia's ZAO Krasnoyaruzhskiy Broiler.

Pas Reform do Brasil is working with Cobb-Vantress Brasil for complete replacement of incubation technologies at its broiler breeding company's GGP complex near Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The new installation will include 15 SmartSet setters and six SmartHatch hatchers, with complete retrofit of pressure and humidity control systems in the hatcher rooms.

Thomas Calil, managing director of Pas Reform do Brasil said the adoption of single-stage technology is an evolutionary step in Brazil as there is a marked shift from multi-stage to single-stage incubation in Latin American countries.

Cobb-Vantress Brazil's equipment will be manufactured, supplied, installed and serviced by Pas Reform do Brasil, to be operational by July 2009.

In related news, Pas Reform  has designed and installed a GPS hatchery for Russia's ZAO Krasnoyaruzhskiy Broiler with a capacity for 12 million eggs per year.
