Harm Langen has been named as the new CEO of leading Dutch hatchery technology company Pas Reform. Langen will assume his new role when current chief executive Bart Aangenendt takes over as CEO of Holding Company Hydratec Industries NV in September.

As managing director of LAN Handling Systems, Langen has delivered strong leadership and convincing growth for Pas Reform’s sister company, which supplies system solutions for food and pharmaceutical companies worldwide. His appointment received a vote of confidence from Hydratec’s management and supervisory boards and from Pas Reform’s management team.

Aangenendt stated: “As Pas Reform approaches its 100th anniversary, the company is recognized globally as an innovator and market leader in single stage incubation, climate control and hatchery automation systems (HAS).

“Having worked both as a sister-company and as a supplier of HAS to Pas Reform for the past four years, Harm understands the culture of teamwork and the constant pursuit of excellence that drives Pas Reform’s international development. We know that he brings the right kind of experience, passion and entrepreneurial drive to this role. We all wish him great success.”

Langen will make the transition to his new role gradually over the next few months, working alongside Aangenendt and the management team at Pas Reform to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities.

Pas Reform is an ambitious, successful company, dedicated to innovation and excellence in the hatchery sector,” said Langen. “I see this as an extraordinary opportunity for further growth and development.

“It is a privilege to be succeeding Bart in this role and I am looking forward to joining such a dynamic team.”
