Astral Foods, South Africa, has appointed Chris Schutte as CEO, effective May 1, following the recent resignation of Nick Wentzel.
Schutte joined Astral Foods in 2002 and has been managing director of the Animal Nutrition Division since July 2004. He has served as an executive director on the board of Astral Foods for the past five years.
The company also appointed Daniel Dirk Ferreira as financial director and Dr Obed Mooki Lukhele as group director of veterinary services.
