Survey shows trust in UK farmers increased

A recent survey from Reader’s Digest showed that in the UK, 82% of respondents trust farmers “a great deal” or “quite a lot."

Trust has increased since the question last was asked in 2007.

The survey was conducted across 16 European countries. Trust in farmers was highest in the UK and Austria and lowest in Poland and Romania with 59% and 57% respectively saying farmers were trusted “a great deal" or “quite a lot."
