A program to establish at least two poultry farms in each district in Uzbekistan's Andijan province is now under way, according to the Jahon news agency.
One of the poultry farms, the Golden Bird Limited Liability Company, has been established in the Khojaobod District with more than 20,000 hens and chickens. The company supplies up to 10,000-12,000 eggs to consumers each day. Golden Bird plans to increase the number of its hens as it has the capacity to breed more than 60,000. The company employs 30 people.
