Cal-Maine Foods names vice president of operations

Leading U.S. egg producer Cal-Maine Foods has promoted TimothyThompson to vice president of operations, effective June 1.

Leading U.S. egg producer Cal-Maine Foods has promoted Timothy Thompson to vice president of operations, effective June 1. Thompson will have responsibility for all of Cal-Maine Foods’ production and processing facilities located in Arkansas. He will report directly to Sherman Miller, chief operating officer  of Cal-Maine Foods.

Thompson has been employed with Cal-Maine Foods since 1996. He most recently served as general manager of the company’s operations in Searcy, Arkansas. Previously, he worked in the same capacity for Cal-Maine Foods in Lincoln, Arkansas, and for the company’s egg products division. Thompson held management positions with Sonstegard Foods of Georgia and Supreme Egg Products before joining Cal-Maine Foods. Thompson graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in business management.
