JB Equity has announced that Glen Illing has joined the private equity firm as Partner. He will take up the position and join the Executive Board on Aug. 1.
Illing joins JB Equity from Topigs Norsvin, one of the most innovative global pig genetics companies. Prior to this he successfully led a management buyout of the SyAqua Group, an Applied Aquaculture Biotechnology company, and spearheaded the group as CEO.
At JB Equity, the new partner will focus on investment strategy, deal execution and development of portfolio companies. He will share his wealth of experience in investments that require bridging the gap between science, technology and business.
