The first Latin American HatchCare project is confirmed: a turn-key HatchTech hatchery in northern Peru.

The first Latin American HatchCare project is confirmed: a turn-key HatchTech hatchery in northern Peru. By investing in the project, Don Pollo is getting ready to change the Latin American poultry industry.

The investment includes MicroClimer Setters, HatchCare – the hatcher with light, feed and water; and HatchTech’s solutions for ventilation, cooling and heating. The complete hatchery will have a capacity of 1.35 million eggs a month.

Don Pollo decided to invest in HatchTech because the HatchCare system is perfectly in line with the philosophy of the company: being innovative and leading in the poultry industry. Due to the unique Laminar Airflow concept and Early Feeding, HatchCare produces longer and healthier chicks with less need for antibiotics. With HatchCare, Don Pollo will soon start producing stronger and healthier day-old chicks with reduced need for antibiotics.

Gilbert Klumpenaar, International Sales Manager Latin America, states: “Building a turn-key hatchery according to the high European standards in a remote area of Peru will change the Latin American industry. We’ll soon start the construction of the project.”
