Three students of the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky were awarded by Alltech for their submissions to the Alltech Pharma Competition. The students forming the winning team are Lerato Barney, Andy Reynolds, and Ryan Jones.
The Alltech Pharma Competition is an initiative linked to Alltech’s innovative nutrigenomics research program. Through the competition, the company hopes to generate blueprints for the establishment of a new company, Alltech Pharma.
The teams had to submit a detailed prospectus document for Alltech Pharma which included an overview of Alltech, details of the new technology and products, and a visionary business model.
The Alltech Pharma Competition was open to MBA students at the University of Kentucky and MBA students at University College Dublin, Ireland.
