Alltech and California-based O.H. Kruse launched Green Feed, the first environmentally-friendly equine feed, at the Western States Horse Expo held June 11-13 in Sacramento, Calif.
The feed contains proven natural technologies that ensure digestive health, boost immune function and provide optimal mineral balances that enable horses to perform at their peak.
The formula includes supplements that decrease the nutrient content wasted in the form of manure, thereby reducing the risk of groundwater contamination. The bag containing the feed is also eco-friendly, made from recyclable materials and printed with soy-based ink.
