Harrison Europac changes name to Faerch Plast

Managing director said using one name will help create more clarity and uniformity across the business.

UK-based packaging manufacturer Harrison Europac has changed its name to Faerch Plast Ltd.

Harrison Europac was established in 1989 and has operated as a joint venture with majority shareholder Faerch Plast A/S for 20 years. During 2008, the Denmark-based company purchased the remaining 20% stake in Harrison Europac.

Joe Iannidinardo, managing director of Faerch Plast Ltd., said using one name will help create more clarity and uniformity across the business. The announcement was made in a news release on June 15.
