The 2010 International Poultry Expo and International Feed Expo has a new affiliate in the National Rendering Association, a conglomeration of companies specializing in recycling and adding value to animal by-products, with the aim of producing profitable products such as protein meals and pet foods.
The expos, to be held from January 27-29 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, will be sponsored by U.S. Poultry & Egg Association and the American Feed Industry Association.
The NRA also will be one of the co-sponsors of the Animal Agriculture Environmental Sustainability Conference, which debuted this year.
