The Farmetrics Prediction Market has announced the top 10 winners of its 2008 contests.

Participants earned reward points on the basis of the accuracy of their predictions versus the United States Department of Agriculture results. They submitted their predictions on topics such as local planted acreage, yield and harvest acreage on a weekly basis.

Each county offered contests relative to crops produced in the area and specific crop season.
