Animal health and nutrition company Alltech announced that Deirdre Lyons, Alltech co-founder and director of corporate image and design, has been selected by the Lexington chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) as the 2009 recipient of the Winners' Circle Award.
The award, the highest individual honor bestowed by the chapter, recognizes a Kentucky woman who has shown outstanding leadership, financial stamina and control, contribution to the community through time and resources, understanding and resolution of complex issues, and dedication to the furtherance of women in business through personal support and mentoring.
