When in-house cooling plant is taken off line for routine maintenance or emergency repair, chiller hire is often the only option available to preserve the quality of stored chilled food. For these emergency situations an extremely fast response is required. The Fast Chill range was introduced by Andrews Chiller Hire for such applications, providing a faster, more economical solution.
The great appeal is a simple plug and play installation concept, once on site the chiller will be ready to run in minutes. A powerful fan produces outstanding performance, delivering up to 10,000m3 cooled air flow with a capability down to -10oC, with an ability to maintain local environments to within 0.5oC.
Unlike many conventional chillers, apart from a three-phase power supply, there is no requirement for additional services such as water fill or refrigeration connection. Where no power supply is readily available Andrews will supply a suitable generator.

The FC90 is a two-part system, the self-contained, split line fluid chiller incorporates compressors, evaporators and an external heat exchanger, each part supported in a sturdy crash frame that protects and helps positioning on site. The crash frame also acts as a structural support that enables units to be stacked to create neat tidy banks that do not overwhelmingly intrude into a storage area.
These high-performance, temporary FC90 chillers are ideal for applications such as large-volume air conditioning (planned or emergency), low-temperature production facilities and cold stores or food storage at temporary events.
